Lillibrooke Manor Wedding

The recent amazing Lillibrooke Manor wedding in Berkshire was everything a great wedding should be. As a Berkshire wedding photographer I couldn’t have asked for much more. Ksenia and Iain are just such an amazing couple.

We met a few months before in Tower bridge in London where we did their engagement session. The atmosphere and chemistry between them both was fun and relaxed and we got some beautiful photos as a result. Feel free to check them out here! Because of that I knew that the wedding day will be just as good, if not better!

Lillibrooke Manor is a gorgeous venue and so well taken care of. History seems to seep from between the bricks and everything had the fine balance between preservation and modern perfection. It is grade II listed with medieval manor house and 15 acres of historic barns and gardens.

One of the main features is the Great Barn, where the wedding breakfast took place. It is one of the largest of its type in the south of England. With a grand beamed ceiling and wrought iron chandeliers, it is truly an impressive space. The ceremony was held outside, in the beautiful rose garden underneath the old barn out-cove. All the gathered family and friends were just a happy bunch of people, which made the atmosphere joyful and relaxed. The ceremony was beautiful and the canapes where to die for!

The Great Barn

The meal and speeches were held in the most beautiful barn going, the lights, the lines, the decor just draws in the eye and even I couldn’t stop looking at it all. Speeches were moving and funny. Some favourite moments were from Ksenia’s russian family traditions when Ksenia & Iain had to kiss upon every toast to them and keep kissing untill everyone stops clapping.

As you can imagine there was a lot of smooching. 🙂 Later in the day, we took some time to take couple photos, we could have literally gone anywhere, the surrounding areas were stunning. The gardens looked as pristine as ever and so we made the most of the gorgeous greens. The after dark sparklers were great, with nice warm glow in the photographs against the dark backdrop of the evening.
