The Elephant Pangbourne Wedding

The Elephant pangbourne wedding is such a beautiful one, definitely one of my favorites of the year! It had it all, 2 wedding dresses, 2 ceremonies and 3 venues. Kayliegh and Shane first reached out to me through Instagram and I knew from the initial Skype meeting it was going to be great. That’s an understatement compared to how amazing their day actually was.

2 Wedding Dresses, 2 Ceremonies and 3 Venues

I met Kayliegh and Shane at the amazing Shaw House registry office in Newbury. A magnificent grade I listed build which now does events. What a building to say your I do’s in! Kayleigh looked so beautiful as she turned up in a very classy Rolls Royce and was eager to see Shane for the first time on her wedding day.

The Ceremony was short and sweet with lots of family members beaming with smiles for the whole duration. Once we came out of the ceremony it was a quick pit stop for photos then off to The Elephant Hotel for Kayleigh to put on dress number two.Wow another amazing wedding dress, Kayleigh’s taste in wedding dresses was on point!

Just as the Sun started to come out it was a short car journey to the lovely St James Church which is located next to the Elephant. The church was perfect for Kayleigh and Shane to have a blessing with all of their wedding guests and family. The great thing about having 2 ceremonies is that you get to have 2 confetti photos which we took full advantage off. Once finished we all headed to the garden of the Elephant for drinks and canapes.

– Bring on the Banter!

Once the very yummy canapes had been and gone I managed to sneak the lovely couple away for 10 minutes for some portraits. The sky was threatening to rain so we didn’t have much time at all but it was very easy for me to capture Kaylighs and Shanes love for each other. They literally couldn’t keep their hands off each other all day.

Now, every now and then you meet a couple which have so many close friends which love to throw the banter around. Kayliegh and Shane’s friends where the pinnacle of this, my sides where literary splitting all day and I keep remembering little moments throughout the day which had everyone in stitches. Once inside the speeches started which where a highlight of the evening, so many laughs and the banter just flew off the scale.

Dance the night away

For the cake cutting and first dance it’s always a pleasure, as the couple are stress free by this point. We had the pleasure of the very talented sax player and one of Kaylighs friends singing their first dance song. Once the music began in earnest, everyone was on the dance floor.

They were both such good sports the entire day and loved every idea I had for photos. A photographer’s dream couple. There was so many great suppliers at Kayliegh and Shanes the elephant pangbourne wedding so I wanted to provide you all with a suppliers list below, in addition to this I just wanted to say a huge shout out to the elephant hotel for being such great hosts!
