Chelsea wedding photographer

As chelsea wedding venues go, this was one of my favourites of 2019. Travelling up to Anastasia & Minhajs wedding was one that had me filled with excitement. Not only did I get the chance to go back to London, which having lived there for 10 years has left me missing the big smoke but I got to go back to Chelsea! Chelsea is pretty unique. It’s like a town all of its own, inside London.

A very cool place full of very cool people. Whenever I’m visiting there’s a real sense of buzz and I remember on this particular occasion sending a message to my fiancée whilst walking around prior to starting coverage that read “I’d like to move to Chelsea”. There’s always that impending lottery win I suppose…

Chelsea wedding venues

Chelsea town hall is a fantastic chelsea wedding venues in London to hold a wedding ceremony. This place is enriched with history from royalists to celebrities who have all tied the knot here. It’s clear the moment you walk up those famous Chelsea steps that this place has seen it all and It gives it the unique feel & style that a lot of couples desire Chelsea for their wedding photography. So much so that it is very lucky to get a free date there, due to the sheer amount of people that wish to get married at Chelsea town hall London.

My favourite part about these Chelsea wedding venues are the sheer amount of character. The whole place is a lot to take in when you first walk through those doors. I remember meeting Minaj outside the front and it looks pretty polished.

But when you walk through the double doors, you are hit with this incredible marble floor with high ceilings with ceremony rooms either side lit by grand chandeliers illuminating the chairs below. And that’s without seeing the famous staircase probably most famous for the celebrity photos which always take place there. Minaj was in his element among this. Waiting for Anastasia to arrive you could see how happy he was. Wedding photography is easy when you’re given this gift.

Good friends, stylish decor!

The day started for me at Anastasia’s bridal prep at the luxurious Bailey’s Hotel in South Kensington. The morning was spent with 2 of Anastasia’s closest friends who flew all the way from Russia to be with her on the morning of her wedding. The ceremony was very moving and thoughtful with very proud parents and friends looking a far. From Confetti outside the famous steps and onlookers passing by wishing the happy couple all the best as we made our way from Chelsea town hall to the Bluebird for the reception.

Bluebird in London is one of the regular haunts of the Made In Chelsea stars, a couple of whom I spotted whilst enjoying my (delicious) burger whilst the guests enjoyed their wedding breakfast. It’s a very, very cool venue. Upstairs in the main bar the clientele were all impeccably dressed and downstairs in the Bluebird café trendy twenty-somethings gossiped and drank champagne. Anastasia and Minhaj had private access to one of Bluebird’s dining rooms and it played the perfect backdrop to their special day. Below you’ll find some of my favourite Bluebird Chelsea wedding photography.

I would love it if you left some love in the comments section below and please feel free to share this on your favourite social media sites too, and don’t forget if your looking for a chelsea wedding photographer or chelsea wedding venues please don’t hesitate to get in touch here!
