Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding // London // Coral + Jon
Wow, what can I say about the lovely Coral & Jon’s wedding in the beautiful world famous Chelsea Registry office. We where lucky enough to be blessed with snow! I know right snow in central London is un heard of but snow it did and it was stunning. I arrived at Coral’s & Jon’s home to find Coral getting ready with the lovely girls from my beauty squad. As I got set up I met the cutest baby in the world called Caiden, playing with some toys watching mummy getting her hair and make up done. A couple of minutes later a couple of Coral’s closest friends arrived and the champagne started to flow.
The time arrived for us all to head to the registry office, on the way there I thought I would google some facts about the famous registry office and was amazed to find out that the venue has played host to various celebrities from footballers too actors, and the Independent dubbed it ‘still one of the hippest places to get married.’ Which it probably is. Based on the iconic Chelsea Road the venues famous steps where quickly noticeable from the car. As the snow was very cold we all quickly made our way inside where I found Jon waiting with Caiden. Once inside the happiness of everyone involved was plain to see in the broad, unforced smiles that punctuated the whole day. After the ceremony I took the newly wed couple to Albert bridge for some photos by the river and a stroll through the white snow filled Battersea park. The snow made for some great photos and I have to take my hat of to Coral for walking with open fronted shoes with the temperature being below zero. During the whole time we accompanied by a little robin which I believe is good luck and even posed for me for a photo of the little guy. After we took some lovely photos in the snow we headed to The Phoenix for the reception, a lovely warm inviting pub based in the heart of Chelsea. It was a genuine delight to work with such a lovely couple, and to photograph a day that was bursting at the seams with joy in such interesting venue was a highlight. Anyway enough of me right, below are a few of my favourite snaps.
